Directions from Rt. 29 near the Charlottesville/Albemarle County Airport:
Take Rt. 29 North or South to the traffic light at the intersection of Airport Rd. and Rt. 29. Turn onto Airport Rd. Continue on Airport Rd. to a traffic circle. Enter the circle and take the 3rd right (9:00 on the clock if you enter at 6:00) onto Dickerson Rd SOUTH. Follow Dickerson about a mile to another traffic circle. Enter the circle and take the first right (this will be Earlysville Rd, but there is no sign.) Follow Earlysville Rd. through the town of Earlysville to the fork in the road at the old Earlysville general store. Take the left fork onto Buck Mountain Rd.  Follow for about 1 1/2 miles to the second right and turn right onto Markwood Rd (Markwood is 1/4 mile past Chestnut Grove Church.) Follow Markwood for about 2 1/2 miles passing a subdivision called Indian Springs. Turn left onto Buck Mountain Ford Lane. Follow for several hundred yards and turn left onto Lawson Lane.  Follow Lawson Lane back to just before the big silver barn. The house is a white cottage on the right about 300 feet before the barn.
